Literature Text

There's no true difference between you and me
Our blood doesn't mean anything

It cannot show the friendship we have obtained
It cannot show the sibling arguments we have rained

So why must it matter all so much?
How can it prove that we're family?

My love for you is strong
And if you think it's non-exciting,
you're wrong

'Cause we came from different mothers
But now you're stuck with me,
we're brothers

Honestly, we're going hate each other at first,
there's no denying it
Honestly, I don't care whether it takes years
for you to come around

In time you'll see that we're a pack
And that we've got each others' backs

Until then I hope you see
That we're all making cherished memories

So enjoy sulking in that damp corner
For now, the couch and TV remote
are easy access
Just a little rhyming poem written awhile ago.
This brought a smile to my face, mostly because I can still remember that my inspiration for it came from the TV show Drake and Josh.
I still watch that show.
